North Star Community Foundation celebrates Giving Tuesday.
Giving Tuesday is a global generosity movement to kick off the all-important charity and community service donation season.
You've seen Black Friday and Cyber Monday come and go. You've bought Christmas presents for friends, goodies for yourself and now it is time to think of others in the community.
If you wish to donate to efforts that support the North Star Borough community, you have your choice of the following active campaigns:

Contribute to the North Star Community Foundation itself, through the NSCF general operating fund. |

Contribute to the Friends of Fox Spring to gather funds for the ongoing maintainance of Fox Spring. |

Contribute to the Friend of SS Nenana which supports the restoration effort of the SS Nenana. |
 |
Contribute to the Chena Tool Library which provides a valuable tool lending library for those special projects. |
 |
Contribute to the Fairbanks Housing and Homeless Coalition, which works to end homelessness in Fairbanks. |
 |
Join the Arctic Alliance for People, a group that supports action and advocacy on behalf of social services in Fairbanks. |
 |
The Fairbanks Santa's Helpers campaign provides funding to donate Christmas presents to needy families and children who may not otherwise have them. |
 |
Contribute to the Fairbanks SkatePark Coalition which is working to provide safe skateboarding venues in Fairbanks. |
 |
Contribute to the Kiwanis Centennial Playground campaign to support the Kiwanis Clubs of Fairbanks' effort to provide playground equipment for the Tanana Lakes recreation area. |
