Our mission:

Toys donated by our community helps provide Christmas gifts to families with children 17 and under. In preparation for this year, drop boxes have been placed around Fairbanks and community members are encouraged to donate and drop off new toys for children of all ages. 

If you are interested in helping us this year, please reach out to us over FB and email. Groups interested in volunteering this year please email santashelpersak@gmail.com or phone 907-750-0608.

Donation boxes can be found at Fairbanks Nissan, Pearson Automotive Repair in Fairbanks and North Pole, Forbes Storage, Comic Shop, Enchanted Forest Toys, both Safeway locations in Fairbanks, Santa Claus House, Open Arms Day Care, and Fred Meyer West.

Arctic Outlook is an effort to unify and inform the wide array of water management and wastewater management organizations and professionals within the North Star Borough. As fresh water becomes an increasingly critical resource, coordination and 'community memory' of water management resources and best practices becomes correspondingly valuable.

Solarize BRITE is a new pilot project project that is aiming to support nonprofits in implementing resilience-focused energy efficiency upgrades and solar installs. Solarize BRITE logoWith the support of the US Department of Energy and National Renewable Energy Laboratory (NREL), Information Insights, and Solarize Fairbanks, the BRITE team is working with a handful of nonprofits in the Fairbanks and Denali areas on energy audits, contracting for retrofits and solar, post-energy audits, and fundraising for their energy upgrades!

SS NenanaFriends of SS Nenana is a state non-profit dedicated to the renovation and preservation of the sternwheeler SS Nenana located in Pioneer Park in Fairbanks, Alaska. The wooden-hulled, western Rivers-style steam sternwheel passenger riverboat Nenana is one of only three steam-powered passenger sternwheelers of any kind left in the U.S., and the only large wooden sternwheeler.
