The Fairbanks Housing and Homeless Coalition is calling for support for the annual Project Homeless Connect event, to be held Wednesday, January 25th, from 10am – 3pm at the JP Jones Community Development Center.
The event is an opportunity to become a service provider, sponsor and/or volunteer for the one-day, one-stop event to provide information, services, and hospitality. This convenient one-stop model is a way FHHC can help bring service providers, government agencies, and the general community together to address a problem that affects all of us.
Project Homeless Connect is a collaborative effort between service providers, government agencies, the private sector and the general community. This model has been used by over a hundred communities. All report success connecting individuals experiencing homelessness to services faster, gaining housing, and improving their overall quality of life.
